1. General Information

Welcome to Urban Flooring Company Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”). By placing an order on our website or through our sales team, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our site indicates acceptance of those changes.

2. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, natural flooring materials such as wood and vinyl may vary in colour, grain, and finish.
Batch variation can occur — please ensure you order enough material in one go to complete your project.

Slight differences in colour or texture between product batches, or between digital images and actual samples, are not considered faults.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices shown on our website are in GBP and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to update pricing or correct typographical errors at any time.

Full payment is required before dispatch of goods. Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

4. Delivery

Deliveries are made across mainland UK using trusted third-party couriers.
Estimated delivery time is 3–5 business days unless otherwise agreed.

Delivery dates are estimates only and we cannot be held liable for any loss or delay caused by courier issues, adverse weather, or events beyond our control.

All deliveries are kerbside only. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate access and manpower for unloading.

If delivery fails due to incorrect details or access restrictions, a redelivery fee may apply.

5. Inspection of Goods

All goods must be inspected upon delivery.
If any damage or discrepancies are found, you must notify us within 48 hours by emailing sales@urbanflooringcompany.co.uk with photographs and your order details.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage reported after this period.

6. Returns & Cancellations

You have the right to cancel unused and unopened goods within 14 days of receiving your order, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Returned goods must be:

  • In their original packaging

  • Unused and in a resalable condition

  • Returned at your own cost unless faulty

We do not accept returns of opened packs, cut lengths, or special-order items.
Refunds are processed once goods are inspected and approved by our returns team.

If goods are returned in an unsellable condition, a restocking or disposal fee may apply.

7. Faults & Warranty

In the rare event of a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 30 days of receipt.
We will liaise with the manufacturer to arrange inspection or replacement as appropriate.
Our warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Damage caused by moisture, temperature, or improper maintenance

  • General wear and tear

We strongly recommend all flooring is installed by a qualified professional following the manufacturer’s fitting instructions.

8. Customer Responsibilities

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Check quantities and measurements before ordering

  • Store flooring in a dry, flat environment before installation

  • Allow sufficient acclimatisation time before fitting

  • Ensure subfloors are prepared correctly

We are not liable for fitting or wastage costs resulting from measurement errors, poor installation, or product misuse.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urban Flooring Company Limited shall not be liable for any:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, or business

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Damage arising from misuse, installation errors, or third-party work

Our liability for any claim is limited strictly to the value of the goods purchased.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
